Vicky is the Director of Development at Open Briefing, a global non-profit that provides holistic security support to activists and human rights defenders at risk of physical, digital and psychological harm. 


Her fundraising and development experience spans start-up NGOs and large institutions working across human rights, technology, strategic litigation and climate action. She was previously the Head of Fundraising at the Open Rights Group, Head of Development at Videre est Credere and Development Director at Privacy International, where she led the organisation’s fundraising strategy and financial management through a period of strategic growth. She has also provided freelance fundraising support to a range of NGOs and policy institutes including Fashion Revolution, La Difference, Media Defence, Chatham House, C40 Cities, and the Institute of War and Peace Reporting. 


Vicky was previously trustee of the Global Legal Action Network. She holds a degree in social and political sciences from the University of Cambridge.
