Hae Ju Kang oversees the coordinated management of the organisation’s investigations into gross violations of international human rights law in the DPRK penal system. She specialises in the investigation and analysis of sexual and gender-based violence in the penal system; designs and manages ongoing projects, including their funding; and oversees practices supporting the welfare of staff and victims the organisation engages.
